is starting his 11th year shooting for Captain D's. It has been a wonderful partnership, strengthened by the fact that it doesn't feel like work when you thoroughly enjoy the people you're working with.
Captain D's has carried Rusty from agency to agency over the years. Their loyalty to us runs deep, as does ours with them. We’ve watched this brand evolve over the years, from point of sale and direct mail to shooting more assets for social channels by capturing stop motion and gifs.
Their fun and creative shot list pairs well with Rusty’s creativity and professional eye. Rusty understands the nuances and expectations for their brand and delivers on that while providing a good balance between work and fun that his clients can enjoy.
When TRG Agency tapped Amy Mikler to shoot the Swensons campaign in Ohio, the ask was pretty specific. Make it feel real, but make it work. That's a harder brief than it sounds, because most photographers can do one or the other. Amy did both. The images came back warm and genuinely lived-in, the kind where you can't quite tell where the direction ended and the moment began, which is exactly the point. If you're building a campaign around real people doing real things and you need the images to actually land, that's Amy's territory.
