SUPER BOWL + FRITO LAY + LINCOLN DURHAM
🏈From Confetti to Kickoff: How Lincoln Durham Brought Super Bowl Signage to Life in 3D
When TracyLocke and Frito-Lay needed editable Super Bowl signage, they turned to Lincoln Durham’s 3D expertise. He crafted blank snack bags and cans in Cinema 4D, designed for easy reskinning while maintaining a photorealistic finish, making them versatile for multiple campaign versions.
To enhance realism, Lincoln used a particle emitter to simulate falling confetti, strategically placing hidden collider objects so the packaging stayed clear and legible. He also tapped into Cinema 4D’s Hair System to create true-to-life grass, working from a football field texture map for added authenticity.
In ZBrush, he refined snack bag crinkles so designs remained readable from every angle. Then, with precision lighting, he added depth and dimension, giving the final images that extra pop and polish.
By combining 3D modeling, physics-based simulations, and expert texturing, Lincoln delivered high-impact, adaptable signage that met TracyLocke and Frito-Lay’s highest standards.
At Those 3 Reps, we celebrate talent like Lincoln’s, where artistry meets precision and brand stories come to life in extraordinary ways.
