LINCOLN DURHAM + NFL + TOSTITOS

January 10, 2024

Lincoln was tasked with creating 3D-rigged mascot characters for several NFL and college football teams. Each character was created in 3D and then rigged to the desired pose. Before rigging, texturing, and furring, he had to sculpt each character in Z-brush. Once all elements were created and posed, he rendered the body for the side panels. Then he rendered various angles of the head to fit them in a flat die that would then form a 3D cardboard head to sit atop the chip display. Some were revised to the most updated gear and 11 were created from scratch.

After this project was finished, the client was thrilled by the textures of the fur or hair and enhancements of facial features of the 3D look, they came back with 23 NBA teams. More to view soon!
