Spectator sports made a much-welcome comeback in 2021, and Darren's work with NBA Entertainment has continued all throughout the year. From shooting the rookie class to courtside, Darren shared "it's encouraging to see arenas filling up again, although these days I'm not entirely sure how much longer that's going to last... Here's hoping we can keep on getting back to normal, whatever that is these days."

Every summer campaign has that one shot everyone reaches for, someone floating peacefully in a pool with a drink in hand, soaking up the sun. Photographer Amy Mikler wanted to know what happens five seconds later, when a kid jumps in, water flies everywhere, and the float is over before anyone can call it a wrap.
Two years ago Denise said yes to the biggest project of her career. A London publisher wanted her to research and retell folktales from around the world, one for every turn of the season, write the retellings herself, and illustrate all of it.
