Artist Spotlight: Amy Mikler 📸✨

Amy Mikler’s journey began in her childhood, where she could often be found posing groups of neighborhood friends for the camera. Fast forward to today, and she has transformed that passion into a fulfilling career that never feels like work. Amy finds beauty in the natural moments—whether it's the genuine expressions of her subjects, the intricate details of a meal, or the stunning landscapes that frame her shots. Her goal? To create beautiful images that evoke deep emotion and foster genuine connections.

As a creative collaborator, Amy is unmatched. Her problem-solving skills shine through in every project—no hurdle is too high, and no crew is too small for her. She's always ready to capture the unique beauty of your brand!

Recently, while kayaking in the bay near her clan’s vacation spot, Amy met local oyster farmers, which sparked an idea she had been nurturing. She envisioned a project that would highlight the farm behind the food, pairing captivating farm shots with styled food photography. This led her on a journey to connect with produce farmers, a cattle rancher, and even an avocado and finger lime producer. Each farming field trip has been an adventure, whether waking up at sunrise for produce or braving the muddy grounds of an oyster farm.

Stay tuned for her upcoming project, where Amy’s talent for storytelling and her love for the land come together in stunning visuals!

When TRG Agency tapped Amy Mikler to shoot the Swensons campaign in Ohio, the ask was pretty specific. Make it feel real, but make it work. That's a harder brief than it sounds, because most photographers can do one or the other. Amy did both. The images came back warm and genuinely lived-in, the kind where you can't quite tell where the direction ended and the moment began, which is exactly the point. If you're building a campaign around real people doing real things and you need the images to actually land, that's Amy's territory.
