Hapless Hallow

Halloween beckons you to the haunted town of Hapless Hollow. Trick or treat through the night to collect candy cards. Do you dare to lurk in the strange streets after dark, collecting and crafting the items that can get you home intact?

During COVID, we put our heads together for the ultimate passion project: creating a delightful Halloween experience anyone can play from home. We were inspired by spooky colors, quirky characters, and the best type of adventure–where you’re not sure if it will end triumphantly or in disaster–but it’s worth it in the end.

This board game is a working prototype inspired by retro Halloween decorations, childhood memories, and delicious candy.
